Ink, Toner

We get many enquires about the difference between Ink and Toner, so we have decided to explain it.

Ink is in liquid format and prints through a printer head the ink is kept in a plastic casing using a sponge to hold the ink together, once the electronic circuit on the cartridge send a charge to the cartridge from the printer it then sends the message to the printer head to print allowing jets of ink to adhere to the paper and send the print out of the printer.

Toner is a powder form often known as a laser toner, the process that is involved is simple but very effective, once the print is sent from your computer it is then sent to a laser in the printer, that laser sends a signal to the drum on the cartridge then send the paper over the drum sending the signal with the image with the toner powered on the paper the powder is then fused using a heat fuser in the printer burning the powder to the paper all of this happens in under 5 seconds.
